Tyray gets his gun and can't wait to get revenge on Darrell and on the kids who jumped him. He really hates his dad because he abused his mom and him as he was growing up.
They way i see it and think is that he shouldn't try to take someone else life to keep his reputation up because he want people to fear him he should talk to his mom about how he feel before he really hurt someone and just maybe he wont go to jail because he still in school and still a kid. I think this book is trying to tell people that don't be a bully and that people can really get hurt behind it.

Yep...revenge just leads to more revenge, which leads to more revenge...and sometimes the only way to break the cycle is to sacrifice someone innocent, which shocks both people out of their stupidity. Stupid being the operative word.
ReplyDeleteThis book seems like it is telling teens not to do others like you have been done. I mean why would somebody want to hurt someone just because that does not make sense and it is not right..
